Samsung To Unveil New Smart TV Content at IFA 2014

Samsung plans to add new services and games to its smart TV portfolio, including Skype and the popular racing game Need for Speed Most Wanted.

All game apps can be downloaded from the Samsung Smart TV Games Panel and can be controlled by multiple devices, including the Smart Control, a dedicated Samsung Gamepad and select Samsung Galaxy devices.

New Smart TV content being released includes:

  • Need for Speed Most Wanted - one of the most popular racing games on the market, released by EA.
  • Real Football 2014 - a football simulation game from Gameloft, featuring improved graphics and animations, while offering users the ability to create, play and manage football players and teams.
  • Golf Star - a golf experience from Com2us that features realistic graphics, techniques from golf pros and a simulation powered by real physics-based gameplay.
  • Skype - one of the first apps featured in the Smart TV app market, will now bring group video and full HD video calls to the big screen of 2014 Samsung Smart TV models with built-in cameras.

Apps released at IFA 2014 will be available to download for free globally, including Europe, Korea, and the U.S., through the Games Panel on Samsung Smart TVs.
