CDR/W drive supports 32-speed reading


"..Acer has announced a CD-RW drive, the CRW4432A, that supports four-speed record, four-speed re-write, and 32-speed read rates. The 5.25-inch internal drive measures 146 by 198 by 42mm and weighs 1kg. The model has an EIDE/ATAPI interface and 1M of memory buffer to support a 120ms access time. Supported file formats include CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-I, CD-ROM XA, CD-Bridge, Photo CD, Video CD and CD-Extra. The drive supports digital servo control to maintain consistent reading quality with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and Automatic Offset Control (AOC) functions. Standard features include digital volume control and an emergency eject function..".
