According to Plextor tech support the 1.07 firmware for the PX-R412C has the following improvements :

1. CD-RW read CD command improved 2. CD-TEXT read support 3. Audio capture by Mac Toast is corrected 4. Correct bug to hang when reading fixed packet with no pit on runout area 5. Improvement for the unclosed audio disc reading 6. CD+G bug (delay of Graphics) is corrected 7. Support 99 tracks with each ISRC cue sheet

..who cares if the CDR reads CD-Text. It would be better if can write it..As for Plextor 40x upgrade improvements no news till now..Stay tuned!
