AGN Hardware reviewed Promise Fast Trak IDE RAID Controller

"..For a somewhat more appreciable measurement, I shaved 7 seconds on my bootup, a whopping 11 seconds on loading SIN, and just over 4 seconds on loading Word. For me, this was a significant and noticeable improvement.

If you are planning to build a new system using Ultra33 IDE drives then this would be a great addition. Also, if you already have an IDE drive or two and want to add another, then you would most certainly benefit from adding a Fast Trak to your system as well. But, if you are one of the few sitting there with a sweet U2W SCSI system, you don't have to worry about buyers remorse.."
