Instagram Gets Photo Editing Tools


Photo sharing app Instagram now offers editing tools that go beyond the original filters that made it popular.

Users will be able to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation and other features of photos they take with their smartphones.

The tools are available after downloading the newest version of Instagram, 6.0, on Android or Apple phones. It is available today in Apple?s App Store and Google Play.

Instagram was founded in 2010 and acquired by Facebook in 2012.
