Dell To Use AlienWare Brand For Home Entertainment Products: report

Dell is reportedly planning to expand its AlienWare brand to new home entertainment products, according to sources from Taiwan-based upstream supply chain.

A Digitimes.com report does not mention what kind of products will be added to the Alienware's offerings, which currently include gaming-oriented desktops, notebooks, mice, headsets, projectors and other accessories.

Dell has not commented on the report.

AlienWare's products are popular in the gaming industry so Dell possible hopes for a successful entry into the entertainment business.
