Samsung Expected To Showcase Larger Tablets, Galaxy Gear 2 At CES 2014


Both Samsung and LG Electronics will unveil their products at CES 2014, and although they will not reveal their new flagship mobile devices, they may have on display some tablets and wearable devices.

According to uncinfirmed reports from Korea, Samsung amy showcase the Galaxy Gear 2, an improved version of the previous model.

Samsung is also expected to debut its new UHD tablet - tentatively named the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. It is reported to feature a 12.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2560?1600 pixels.

The Rezence wireless charging standard is also expected to be introduced at the event as well. The next-gen wireless charging standard was recently revealed by the Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP) led by Samsung, Qualcomm, and Intel. The standard is drawing a lot of attention, since it uses the principles of magnetic resonance so that multiple devices with different power requirements can be charged at the same time.
