Koolance Releases AMD R9 290X Water Block

If your new AMD Radeon R9 290X GPU runs hotter that you expected, Koolance has just launched the VID-AR290X, a full cover water block designed for your graphics card.

Based on a micro-fin (0.5mm) design of solid copper with anti-corrosive nickel-plating, the new VID-AR290X full cover water block will certainly keep the GPU and VRM temperatures at much lower levels than the reference cooler. It weighs 0.91kg, features standard G1/4 BSPP threading and can be used in both single and CrossFireX configurations with the appropriate adapters.

Although is it not clear, the Water Block possibly also fits the R9 290 (non-X), although both PCBs are identical.

The Koolance R9 290X VID-AR290X water block is currently available from Koolance.com, priced at US $129.99.
