Apple Set To Announce Next iPhone on September Event

Apple will hold an event to announce its next iPhone on September 10, AllThingsD reports.

The web site doesn't have any details on what the next iPhone will be able to do. In case the unveiling is the iPhone 5S, it will most probably look nearly identical to the current iPhone 5. However, it should likely have improved internal components like a faster processor and better camera. Other sources that the next iphone's highlight will be an embedded fingerprint sensor, which would allow you to unlock your phone without a regular passcode.

There's still a lot of chatter that Apple will introduce a cheaper iPhone model with a plastic shellaimed at the low-end smartphone market.

More inpiring would also think of a smartwatch announcement during the event, especially if rival Samsung come with a similar product at IFA in Berlin.
