Sony Xperia Tablet Z Noe Available Worldwide

Sony Mobile's Xperia Tablet Z Android tablet is now available to buy across the globe through Sony's retail and operator partners as well as online channels.

Sony claims that the tablet has received the largest number of pre-orders of any Sony tablet to date.

Xperia Tablet Z is a slim, water-resistant device featuring Sony's OmniBalance design that complements its smartphone sibling - the smash hit Xperia Z. Xperia Tablet Z is available in black or white finishes and in 4G or WiFi versions.

The tablet has a 10.1-inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel touchscreen, and is powered by a 1.5GHz, quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is installed. The tablet also has a pair of camera - an 8-megapixels on the rear, and a 2-megapixels on the front, NFC connectivity and the choice of Wi-Fi-only or Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity.

Prices start at $500.
