AMD A4-4000 APU Available Now


AMD has released its new A4-4000 processor in several online US and Japanese shops.

The dual-core A4-4000 is operating at 3 GHz and supports the Turbo Core technology, which can boost the CPU frequency to 3.2 GHz. The APU has also 1MB L2 cache and its TDP is 65W - the lowest power APU in AMD's desktop APU lineup.

The Trinity-based FM2 APU also features a Radeon HD 7480D GPU core with 128 SPs and clocked at 724MHz.

AMD A4-4000 processor currently retails for about $50.
