A new iPad Mini with a Retina display is on the way, according to reports from Apple's supply chain partners.

got the scoop through Apple's supply chain partners and reported that the new iPad Mini will be delivered as soon as the next autumn.
Display manufacturer AU Optronics (AUO) claims that is has been contacted by Apple to develop a 497ppi screen for the next iPad Mini that would give it a 2048x1536 high-definition resolution, comparable with the Retina displays found on the fourth generation iPad and iphone 5.
The currently available 7.9-inch tablet has won praise since its launch despite its standard-definition display.
