New Kingmax mSATA MMP30 SSD Targets Ultrabooks, Tablets


Kingmax has just released the mSATA MMP30 SSD, a SATA III 6Gb/s soild-state flash solution designed for Ultrabooks, tablet PCs and Small Form Factor or embedded systems.

The MMP30 can be used by system integrators but also by consumers, installed in a mainboard that supports Intel Smart Response Technology to boost the performance of their systems.

The KINGMAX mSATA MMP30 SSD uses the SATA III6Gb/s interface, and complies with the newest generation Ultrabook specifications defined by Intel. It is equipped with an LSI Sanforce controller to offer a maximum sequential write speed of 520MB/s and a maximum sequential read speed of 320MB/s.

Available in capacities of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, the compact device complies with JEDECMO-300B specifications, measning it can be part of Small Form Factor or embedded systems and also tablet PCs.
