LG Has Sold 3 Million LTE Smartphones


LG Electronics says it has sold over 3 million LTE smartphones in Korea within a year.

LG launched the first Optimus LTE in the South Korean in October 2011. Since then, the company has released four additional models in the same series.

The company attributed the strong market response to improvements in software functions and the user interface.

LG's latest model in the Optimus series, the Optimus G, is also enjoying poopularity in apan, the U.S. and Canada, according to LG.
