LSI Introduces Nytro MegaRAID Acceleration Cards

LSI Corp. today announced the availability of the PCIe flash LSI Nytro MegaRAID cards, providing simple, transparent application acceleration for direct-attached storage (DAS).

According to the company, Nytro MegaRAID cards reduce latencies by up to 47x for faster application response time. Performance and reliability are ensured by the LSI SandForce flash storage processors while the LSI dual-core ROC technology offers data protection. The cards are also compatible with existing infrastructure through use of LSI SAS and MegaRAID drivers featuring extensive operating system and management support.

Pricing and availability:

(4 internal ports; 100GB eMLC flash capacity)
