HTC Announced Desire X At IFA


HTC has announced a new edition to their Desire line of smartphones at IFA in Berlin, Germany, which opens to the public Friday.

The new phone has a 4-inch Super LCD WVGA 800x400 screen, it is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 768GB of RAM, has a 5 MP camera and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. In terms of storage, the device is to come with 4GB of onboard space and a microSD card slot providing expansion up to 32GB.

The HTC Desire also runs HTC Connect, the company's media streaming system, that can connect the device remotely to compatible speakers over Wi-Fi.

The phone will be available in Europe, Middle East, Africa and North America in September.
