Pioneer has released its new Pioneer BDP-150 Blu-ray Disc player, bringing Blu-ray 3D support along with the iControlAV2012 app for control convenience.

In addition to being designed for high quality playback of Blu-ray and DVD content, the BDP-150 is geared to access other network-based content. For extra convenience and control, Pioneer's free iControlAV2012 App enables Apple's iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to act as a basic remote control for the player when connected via a wireless router. The app is available for download at no charge from the iTunes App Store (www.apple.com/itunes/). iControlAV2012 for Android phones is available from Google Play.

The Pioneer BDP-150 Blu-ray 3D player has a suggested retail price of $179.99
