Corsair Releases The Force Series 3 Notebook SSD Upgrade Kit

Corsair has just released the Force Series 3 SSD Notebook Upgrade Kits.

Available in sizes of 120GB and 240GB, the new SSDs provide users with an easy way to upgrade their laptops to a solid-state drive for improved performance.

The kit includes a USB-to-SATA cable and easy-to-use migration software for transferring existing operating system, application, and data files from an old hard drive to the new SSD. The new SSDs come in a slim 7mm high case designed to fit in most space-constrained laptops.

Force Series 3 SSD Notebook Upgrade Kits are priced with an MSRP in the United States of $139.99 USD for the 120GB model and $259.99 USD for the 240GB model.

Besides the new hardware-related announcement, Corsair also today said it postponed its initial public offering due to market conditions.

"Our business is growing, and is generating increasing profitability and cash flow. We have decided that we will re-launch when equity market conditions are more favorable. While we do intend to expand our capital base through public capital markets, our existing capital structure and balance sheet provides sufficient capital to enable continued investment in our brand strength, products and people," said Andy Paul, Co-Founder, President and CEO of Corsair.
