Nvidia GTX 670 Released

Nvidia GTX 670, the company's second graphics card based on the GK104 GPU, has officially launched today.

Based on the same chip seen on both the GTX 680 and GTX 690, the GTX 670 has one SMX less and thus, 1344 CUDA cores. Reference clocks are set at 915MHz for graphics and 980MHz for the processor. The card also features the same 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6000MHz on 256-bit memory interface.

In theory, the card should be a little bit slower than the GTX 680, matching the performance of AMD's HD 7970 card.

It is priced at $399.99, adding pressure on AMD's HD 7970 and even HD 7950 offerings.
