HP Introduced The HP Mini 1104

Today, HP gives multitasking, mobile professional users the HP Mini 1104.

The HP Mini 1104 is built to keep traveling techies productive anywhere the job takes them without weighing them down. At only 2.78 pounds with a 10.1-inch screen, the Mini 1104 is compact enough to fit in cramped spaces.

HP's latest companion PC sports super-small, low-power Intel Atom dual-core processors (Intel Atom N2600 - 1.60 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB) to keep the Mini cool, use less power and improve battery life - all the way up to 9 hours of runtime with the 6-cell battery option. With Wi-Fi CERTIFIED WLAN and HP Mobile Broadband to stay connected anywhere, it's that much more important that the Mini 1104's TPM Embedded Security Chip and Computrace Pro keep data safe on-the-road and in the office.

The new mini is featurng a 10.1" diagonal LED-backlit WSVGA widescreen (1024 x 600), a SATA (5400 rpm) HDD with up to 320GB and built-in graphics powered by the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600

Last but not least, the HP Mini 1104 has the durability to withstand bumps and drops, and even offers a hard drive accelerometer that senses motion to temporarily park the hard drive if the Mini is dropped. The companion PC is also safe from spills in the coffee shop, airplane or train with a resistant keyboard that protects sensitive components.

With a starting price of $399, the Mini 1104 is perfect for keeping on-the-go businesspeople connected without breaking tight budgets. The HP Mini 1104 is available today on hp.com. More details is available here
