Samsung Pulls Latest Galaxy Tab Tablet From IFA

Samsung withdrawed latest tablet computer from the IFA trade show in Berlin, in a bid to respect a German court's approval of an injunction sought by Apple.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab 7.7 for the first time at IFA, which kicked off on Friday in Berlin. However, device soon dissapeared from the show's floor and Samsuhg's German website on Saturday, in compliance with a decision handed down by the same Düsseldorf Regional Court court that banned sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 last month.

Last month, Apple scored a significant victory in its intellectual property battle against Samsung Electronics after the German court temporarily barred the Korean firm from selling its flagship Galaxy tablet in most of the European Union.

Previously, Samsung was also forced to delay the Australian launch of its latest tablet because of a separate lawsuit alleging Samsung infringed on a number of Apple's patents.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is powered by a dual 1.2 GHz processor and uses a 7.7-inch super-bright active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) screen.
