CyberLink today released a new update to PowerDVD 11 and also launched PowerDVD Mobile, a brand new all-in-one media player for Android devices.

The updated PowerDVD 11 introduces new features that take entertainment beyond the PC with support for wireless transfer and playback of content between tablets, PCs, and DLNA devices. Two new smart device apps from CyberLink, PowerDVD Mobile and PowerDVD Remote, work with PowerDVD 11 so it is easy to share and play media between several devices.

PowerDVD Mobile is an app for Android tablets that plays videos, music and photos as well as wirelessly connects your tablet with PowerDVD on your PC through your Wi-Fi network.

PowerDVD 11 Ultra users can receive free upgrades to this latest version together with a complimentary license for PowerDVD Mobile for Ultra. Users purchasing PowerDVD 11 Ultra will also receive a bonus license of PowerDVD Mobile for Ultra.
