AMD to Launch New Radeon HD 6000 series Cards next Week


AMD is ready launch three new graphics cards next week, targeting the entry-level and mid-range markets.

The Digitimes.com web site unveiled AMD's plans to release the affordable Radeon HD 6670, 6570 and 6450 cards on April 19.

AMD has recently launched Radeon HD 6790 graphics card to compete with Nvidia's GTX 550 Ti offering.

In May, AMD is also expected to release its next generation Radeon HD 7000 series (Southern Islands) GPUs.
