Verbatim Shipping Blu-ray Re-Writable Double Layer Discs

Verbatim is now shipping its Blu-ray Re-Writable Double Layer (BD-RE DL) discs in the U.S.

Verbatim claims that the new discs are compatible with standard Blu-ray players and recorders and are re-writable up to 1,000 times.

Designed specifically for high definition video and audio data, these double-layer discs can support storage capacities of up to 50GB. Plus, Verbatim treats these discs with its own proprietary HardCoat technology to protect against scratches, fingerprints and dust build-up, reducing playback and recording errors.

Verbatim?s BD-RE DL discs (PN 97536: BD-RE DL 50GB Verbatim Brand 2x 1pk jewel case box) are available at Verbatim.com.
