CyberLink Launches LabelPrint 2.5 Disc Labeling Software

CyberLink today launched CyberLink LabelPrint 2.5, an application that lets users customize their DVDs/CDs with stylishly designed labels, covers and jewel-case inlays.

The new version of CyberLink LabelPrint 2.5, offers users free disc label templates that can be downloaded directly from DirectorZone.com within the LabelPrint software.

CyberLink LabelPrint 2.5 supports Labelflash and LightScribe technologies, allowing users to "etch" image designs and text onto the surface of the Labelflash and LightScribe discs.

Numbered track lists of MP3 audio files can be created by simply selecting the files that have been added to a disc. The information is automatically transferred to layout templates. The software also supports commercial templates from leading label brands. A built-in library of high-resolution images provides a choice of 39 popular themes, including Travel, Happy Birthday, and Sports. Users can also import their own image files and then stretch, tile or crop them to fit their label and cover designs.

While CyberLink LabelPrint 2.5 is designed to operate as a standalone product, it omplements other applications requiring label printing. After installation, users can access label-printing features via the PowerStarter interface in their CyberLink Media Suite, as well as launching from within CyberLink Power2Go.

CyberLink LabelPrint 2.5 is now available online (US $19.95), while a free trial download is also available from the CyberLink website.
