The DVD6C Licensing Group (DVD6C) reached a settlement of its arbitration claim for unpaid royalties due from Duplium Corp. and French licensee QOL.

The group's authorized licensor, Toshiba Corporation, reached a settlement of its arbitration claim for unpaid royalties due from Quantum Optical Laboratories S.A.S. ("QOL") (France) under the DVD6C patent license. Toshiba and Canadian Duplium Corp. also reached a corresponding licensing settlement.

However, Toshiba is continuing to pursue arbitration proceedings against Coby Electronics Co., Ltd. (China) and Tonic Digital Products Limited (Hong Kong) to collect royalties due under their DVD6C patent licenses.

In addition to the foregoing, the new DVD Patent Joint License also extends to +R/+RW Discs that conform to the +R/+RW Standard Specifications.
