The DVD6C Licensing Group (DVD6C) today announced that their authorized licensor, Toshiba, has filed demands for arbitration to collect royalties due under DVD6C patent licenses with Coby Electronics Co., Ltd. ("Coby") (China), Quantum Optical Laboratories S.A.S. ("QOL") (France), and Tonic Digital Products Limited ("Tonic") (Hong Kong).

These arbitrations are part of a global initiative by the DVD6C Licensing Group to collect unpaid royalties. These three new arbitrations bring the total number of arbitrations filed by Toshiba this year to seven.
