Ritek Certified For 4x BD-R DL Production


Ritek on Wednesday announced it has obtained certification for 4x double-layer 50GB Blu-ray Discs.

The company is expected to start volume production of the new discs in Q2 of 2010.

Currently, MKM, TDK/Imation, Panasonic and Moser Baer India are producing BD-R DL discs for recording at speeds higher than 2x.
