Intel to Stop Manufacturing Core i7-920 by the End of September


Intel announced on March 1 that they would end stop producing the Core i7-920 (2.66GHz) processor soon, with the specific CPU to be discontinued and unavailable for additional orders after September 24.

Intel's announcement refers to both tray and boxed versions of the Intel Core i7-920 (2.66GHz) processor.

Intel said that the market demand for the specific CPU have shifted to other Intel products, such as the Core i7-930 (2.80GHz).
