ASUS announced a new range of notebooks in featuring NVIDIA's Optimus technology.

These include the powerful multimedia N Series, several slim and light U/UL Series models and mainstream K Series of notebooks.

The ASUS N Series combine optimized graphics performance and long-lasting battery . Its capabilities are due to the new NVIDIA Optimus technology, which intelligently monitors applications, and then summons the right amount of graphics performance for the job. The N seris also features the ASUS SonicMaster technology for enhanced audio clarity, the Video Magic Technology for true-to-life videos through GPU computing and USB 3.0 for high speed multimedia data transfers.

ASUS notebooks currently equipped with Optimus technology include the U/UL Series (UL50Vf, U30Jc) and the N Series (N61Jv, N71Jv, N82Jv).
