encased in a sophisticated aluminum design.

students and mobile professionals alike.
- Available in the HP Mini?s broadest range of color and design
options to date, the HP Mini 210 and 2102 are affordable companion
PCs that provide all-day computing, optional high-definition (HD)
video playback, and optional global positioning system (GPS) and
mobile broadband connectivity.
Business-class PCs and monitors

The size of a ream of paper, the HP Compaq 8000f Elite Ultra Slim
Desktop PC is 30 percent more energy efficient compared to
previous models, engineered with reduced substances of concern -
including the mouse, keyboard and power cord - and packaged in 100
percent paper-based recycled molded pulp cushions to help protect
it in transit.
The HP Compaq 8000f Elite is ENERGY STAR qualified regardless of
the configuration, registered EPEAT Gold and includes the HP Power
Assistant, which helps business users maximize the system's energy
efficiency while reducing energy-related operating costs.
HP Compaq 8100 Elite Desktop PC Series features 89 percent
energy-efficient power supplies, supports energy-saving
technologies such as solid state drives (SSDs) and offers HP
power-management solutions that help support lower energy usage
and costs. The series is EPEAT Gold registered and ENERGY STAR
qualified, and the power supplies are rated 80 PLUS Gold.
Utilizing Microsoft operating systems, such as Windows 7 and
future Intel Core or Core vPro processors, the HP Compaq 8100
Elite Series offers faster, multicore technology enabling
intelligently maximized performance.
HP also introduced two displays, the HP Compaq LE19f and the HP
Compaq LA22f Widescreen LCD Monitors. Available in 19- and 22-inch
diagonal sizes, these displays are BFR/PVC-free and contain no
mercury. The displays are HP?s first to feature WLED
low-power-consumption backlit panels. The HP Compaq LA22f is
registered EPEAT Gold; the HP Compaq LE19f is registered EPEAT
Silver; and both are ENERGY STAR 5.0 qualified and TCO 5.0
certified.
Notebooks designed for savvy mobile professionals
Drawing inspiration from aircraft design, HP has updated the look
of its HP EliteBook lineup.
- The HP EliteBook 8440w and HP EliteBook 8540w mobile
workstations feature an aluminum finish with a full
magnesium-alloy chassis. The HP EliteBook 8440w represents the
company's first 14-inch diagonal mobile workstation.
- The HP EliteBook 8440p and HP EliteBook 8540p retain the classic
platinum anodized-aluminum finish and the full magnesium-alloy
chassis. Depending on the model, HP EliteBooks offer a wide
variety of configurable options such as choice of Intel Unified
Mobile Access (UMA) or NVIDIA discrete graphics; choice of Intel
Core i7 processors or future Intel Core or Core vPro processors;
and either high-definition (HD) or HD Plus resolution displays.
All new HP EliteBooks also come preloaded with HP SkyRoom, an HD
videoconferencing software.
The company also announced two new additions to the HP ProBook
b-series. The HP ProBook 6440b and HP ProBook 6540b are aimed at
corporate customers. They feature Intel Core processors and are
available with 14-inch or 15.6-inch diagonal HD LED-backlit
widescreen displays.
The new HP EliteBook and HP ProBook notebook series include HP
QuickWeb, which allows users to access the web in seconds when the
notebook is shut down; HP QuickLook, which allows users to look up
and edit email, calendar and contacts without having to boot the
notebook;HP Power Assistant; and spill-resistant keyboards with a
drain.
Additionally, the HP Long Life Battery, which provides up to a
three-year life span will be a configurable option on the new HP
EliteBook and HP ProBook b-series notebooks.
The HP Notebook Projection Companion is a notebook accessory for
mobile users who want to make a big impression. Just 4 inches by 3
inches and weighing less than 1 pound, it can project an image up
to 60 inches from a distance of 8.5 feet. Because the projector
features an LED light source with up to 10,000 hours of usage life
(up to five years of typical use) there are seldom any bulbs to
buy or parts to replace, which helps reduce its total cost of
ownership.
Performance made affordable in a new HP Z workstation
Extending the line of HP Z Workstations to reach new affordable
levels of performance, the HP Z200 Workstation is ideal for
engineers and designers using Autodesk AutoCAD, photographers
using Adobe Photoshop and power office users.
The HP Z200 taps the power of Intel?s newest technologies,
offering dual-core processor options based on future Intel
processors as well as quad-core processor options based on the
enterprise-class Intel Xeon 3400 family. As with all HP Z
Workstations, the HP Z200 provides a flexible workstation platform
with a range of options in Windows and Linux operating systems and
a full range of independent software vendor (ISV) certifications.
HP also unveiled the HP Performance Advisor software tool, which
acts as a personal system engineer to update a user's workstation
settings and drivers. The tool is preinstalled on the HP Z200 and
ships on all HP workstations at no additional cost. Additionally,
all new HP Z Workstations come preloaded with HP SkyRoom.
HP also introduced the HP ZR22w and HP ZR24w Performance Displays
available in 21.5-inch diagonal and 24-inch diagonal sizes. They
offer IPS Panel technology, with 96 percent coverage of the sRGB
gamut and 16.7 million colors at affordable prices. The HP ZR22w
is ENERGY STAR 5.0 qualified and both displays feature an
eight-way comfort-adjust stand.
Touch-Enabled Notebook and Minis in Stylish Designs
HP also expanded its portfolio of mobile products with a new
TouchSmart notebook and colorful netbooks, including the company's
first touch-enabled Mini.
HP TouchSmart tm2
The thin HP TouchSmart tm2 updates the tx2 ? the first
convertible notebook PC with multitouch technology.
With the convertible tm2, users can choose the product
configuration and input method that is most comfortable and
natural, whether on a couch, in an airplane or while surfing the
web. As a traditional notebook, the tm2 offers a keyboard and
touch-enabled display for input. Converted to a slate, the tm2
morphs into a sketchpad with digital pen, allowing artists to
sketch on the go and students to take notes in class.
A light multitouch display technology responds to the softest
touch of a finger. The display also supports multitouch gestures
such as zoom, scroll and rotate by allowing more than one finger
to be accepted as input simultaneously. With the digital pen,
handwriting appears on the display as digital ink, similar to
writing on paper.
Featuring a sophisticated aluminum design, the tm2 is powered by
the latest low-voltage Intel Core 2 Duo processors and optional
high multimedia performance ATI Mobility Radeon discrete graphics
upgrades. The tm2 also provides up to nine hours of battery life
via the standard six-cell battery and includes a fingerprint
reader as well as an advanced thermal design that helps keep the
PC cool.
New touch applications for the tm2 include
- BumpTop, a touch-enhanced 3-D interface for photos and documents
that allows users to spatially organize and "toss" or share files
and photos to social media sites or email.
- DigiFish Dolphin, an interactive 3-D screensaver that recreates
an ocean environment to be experienced via touch or a mouse.
- Corel Paint it! Touch, which allows users to draw and paint or
turn photos into paintings using fingertips.
The tm2 also features many of the same exclusive built-for-touch
applications found on the recently introduced tx2 and HP
TouchSmart PC, including exclusive touch-enabled games and Corel
Painter Sketch Pad application for creating digital art.
The tm2 now offers a touch-enabled Netflix application, which
delivers full-screen movies and TV episodes that are instantly
streamed from Netflix over the Internet and can be watched any
time at no additional cost by Netflix members with an unlimited
subscription. Other recently introduced applications within the
TouchSmart software include Hulu Desktop or Internet TV, Twitter
and HP Music Store.
HP Mini 5102
Starting at only 2.6 pounds, the HP Mini 5102 is a
full-performance netbook designed for mobile professionals and
students. Available in either a standard or touch-enabled version,
the HP Mini 5102 features a lightweight anodized-aluminum display
enclosure with a choice of black, red or blue brushed finishes. It
also features an optional handle, which makes it easy to carry.
The touchscreen option allows users to get work done more
intuitively and quickly based on their choice of input methods.
Multitouch gestures, finger taps and swipes across the screen
allow users to navigate through applications and menus as well as
provide access to information and websites.
The 95 percent of full-size QWERTY keyboard, plus a touchpad,
compares favorably to smaller keyboards of competing companion
PCs.
Logging on to Windows and other websites is fast and easy with HP
Face Recognition for Protect tools. Users simply face the
2-megapixel webcam of the HP Mini 5102 to log in.
The HP Mini 5102 also features the latest Intel Atom N450
processor, multiple connectivity options including mobile broadban
and a 10.1-inch diagonal LED display available in either WSVGA
or HD resolutions. When equipped with the optional Broadcom HD
video decoder technology, the HP Mini 5102 can play back
high-resolution 720- and 1,080-pixel HD video content.
Users can choose either a four-cell battery for lighter weight or
six-cell battery for longer battery life. When configured with the
optional six-cell battery, the HP Mini 5102 delivers up to 10
hours of battery runtime.
HP also is offering the HP Mini 5102 in a HP Student Edition,
designed to help students learn. The Student Edition brings
leading software to students, including Adobe Digital School
Collection, which provides document management and portfolio
creation tools for enhancing learning experiences in language
arts, history, music and the sciences. The HP Student Edition also
can be configured with an optional handle and is available in
black, red or blue.
Features such as a thermal compartment for lunches and snacks, a
roomy book compartment, quick-access compartments for phones and
personal media, and extra padding in the shoulder straps and back
? keep students prepared and comfortable.
HP Mini 210 / HP Mini 2102
The HP Mini 210 and HP Mini 2102 provide freedom and fun with more
than nine hours of battery life plus optional 3G broadband
connectivity and GPS in a slim and stylish design in multiple
color options.
Starting at 2.69 pounds and measuring less than 1-inch thin, the
HP Mini 210 is available in a choice of black, silver, blue or red
HP Imprint finishes. The HP Mini 2102 offers users a sophisticated
black design, which is also available for the Mini 210.
With a 10.1-inch diagonal standard or optional Brightview Infinity
HD LED widescreen display and an island-style keyboard that is 92
percent the size of a standard notebook PC keyboard, the new HP
Mini 210 and HP Mini 2102 are designed for consumers and business
professionals who surf the web, check email, listen to music and
need access to people or information while on the go. The PCs also
have a built-in WLAN, webcam and microphone.
New software enhances the HP Mini 210 PC?s multimedia experience:

synchronized content - documents, photos and music - from the
cloud, without having to store it on a local drive.
- HP MediaStream allows users to stream multimedia content from
one PC to another over the Internet, without requiring data to be
downloaded.
- HP QuickSync software, also available on the HP Mini 2102,
automatically synchronizes files created or edited on the road
with a home or business PC over a wireless connection when
connected to the same network.
- HP QuickWeb allows users to access the web without booting up
the notebook by simply pushing a button. In seconds, users have a
connection to the Internet and can access websites and other
content that normally requires a standard browser, as well as
photos, music and more.
In addition to viewing HD content on the Internet, users can
experience their own personal multiplex via an optional Broadcom
Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator, which allows users to enjoy
1,080-pixel HD content.
The optional GPS software includes the HP Navigator mapping
application.
The HP Mini 210 and HP Mini 2102 support up to 1 gigabyte (GB) of
memory and large hard drive options up to 320 GB. A built-in VGA
port allows users to connect to an external monitor, while a
five-in-one digital media slot allows users to transfer files
from various memory formats.
