TRIM Now Available for OCZ Summit Series SSDs


OCZ has released a firmware upgrade for its line of Summit Series SSDs, that supports TRIM command for Windows 7 users and idle garbage collection for Vista and XP users.

The new firmware helps restore performance on Summit drives back to "new" conditions by freeing space and consolidating blocks of data.
