The Aspire 5738DG-6165 costs $779 (3D glasses included) and it is capable enough for most users not looking for a screaming gaming rig, powered by an Intel 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM, and ATI Radeon HD 4570 graphics. Other features include the 5.6-inch 1366 x 768 resolution screen, a 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a DVD player. Power comes from a 6-cell li-ion battery with 4400mAh of power. he machine will ship this week.

Sharp had also introduced a 3D laptop in 2003 capable of working without glasses, although the 3D effect was close to what you get from a 3-D postcard.

Nvidia has already released a 3D kit for desktop gamers selling for a $200.
