Roxio has today launched Roxio Easy LP to MP3 to help individuals preserve their analogue music collections by converting them to MP3 files, CDs or onto a portable player.

Easy LP to MP3 comes complete with the appropriate stereo cable connections in addition to a CD label creator, so you can print sleeves for your newly created audio discs.

The software records directly from LPs and tapes to WAV, MP3, WMA, Audio CD or MP3 CD and includes clean-up tools to remove clicks, pops, hissing and other unwanted noise from the music file. It can also split continuous tracks into individual files; automatically populate the name of the artist or band, the song title and album name by using intelligent tools that can recognise music files by their characteristics; and album art can be included, as required.
