CyberLink today released CyberLink TrueTheater Enhancer that improves the playback quality of videos on YouTube, including "High Quality" and "HD" online video content.

Based on the same TrueTheater Technology that is featured in CyberLink?s DVD player software, PowerDVD, TrueTheater Enhancer promises to make YouTube videos played at full-screen size better than ever.

CyberLink TrueTheater Enhancer delivers the following video playback improvements:

- Intelligently adjusts video brightness, contrast and saturation
- Removes the "image graying" that commonly appears with online video
- Reduces video noise, making videos appear less "grainy"
- Sharpens onscreen text such as subtitles, making them noticeably easier to read
- Enables full-screen video playback without creating jagged edges on magnified content

The application is a plug-in for Windows Internet Explorer, providing the option for the user to compare the original YouTube video playback quality with the improved TrueTheater Enhancer quality.

CyberLink TrueTheater Enhancer is now available online, supporting the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, and Korean.
