Acer To Launch Four New Android Phones in September


Acer plans release four new smarthones based on Windows Mobile and Google's Android OS in September, according to handset component suppliers in Taiwan.

The new devices, code-named A1, C1/E1, F1 and L1

The A1 device will be reportedly based on Google's Android OS, while the rest will use the Windows Mobile platform. The high-end model (F1) will run Winows Mobile 6.5 OS, will use Qualcomm 1GHz CPU and have a 3.8-inch 480 ? 800 TFT touch screen and a 5-megapixel camera (auto focus / LED flash ).

Acer has not officailly confirmed the reports.
