Acer plans release four new smarthones based on Windows Mobile and Google's Android OS in September, according to handset component suppliers in Taiwan.
The new devices, code-named A1, C1/E1, F1 and L1
The A1 device will be reportedly based on Google's Android OS, while the rest will use the Windows Mobile platform.
The high-end model (F1) will run Winows Mobile 6.5 OS, will use Qualcomm 1GHz CPU and have a 3.8-inch 480 ? 800 TFT touch screen and a 5-megapixel camera (auto focus / LED flash ).
Acer has not officailly confirmed the reports.
