ATI releases the Catalyst 9.5 software suite, a unified Microsoft WHQL certified graphics driver for Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

The new drivers meet Microsoft?s WHQL certification requirements for both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

The drivers also offers 64-bit support for ATI AVIVO technology under Windows Vista, and resolves a number of issues related to the ATI Video Converter. Using ATI Stream technology, owners of ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series and ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series of graphics cards can take advantage of this video conversion tool (found in ATI Catalyst Control Center Basic View) to achieve performance improvements when transcoding video files.

Game optimizations inlcude:

- Unigine Tropics DirectX 9 - enables performance gains for single GPU and ATI CrossFireX configurations with anti-aliasing enabled.

- Company of Heroes - enables performance gains for both single GPU and ATI CrossFireX configurations.

- BattleForge- enables performance gains for ATI CrossFireX configurations.
