Nero launched the new 'Nero BackItUp & Burn' product, a
software solution for burning restoration, recovery and
syncing of content.
The software allows users to protect their content by
doing scheduled backups; burn discs and share music,
videos and data files; backup files to online storage;
sync files and folders; and recover lost information from
damaged or scratched media - all accomplished through an
easy-to-use interface.
The product has a small footprint, freeing up space for
other games and programs. Its easy-to-use interface was
built from the ground up based on the results of consumer
surveys and feedback on forums such as MyNero. Created on
the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), it ensures
that consumers familiar with applications such as
Microsoft Outlook will be immediately comfortable with
the navigation and ribbon-style menus.
Most tasks within Nero BackItUp & Burn can be
accomplished within three steps. This includes the
ability to:
- Backup data to hard drive, CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, FTP,
memory card and online storage
- Automatically backup to local hard drive and online
storage
- Schedule backups with convenient e-mail
confirmations
- Burn discs with the industry's most reliable burning
application
- Create audio CDs and copy DVDs and Blu-ray discs
- Synchronize files and folders for easy access to latest
versions
- Recover data from deleted and damaged storage media
- Restore files, folders, drives and systems
- Boot from retail CD if system recovery is
