Intel Discontinues Manufacturing of Core i7 956 and 940 CPU


Intel announced plans to discontinue the manufacturing of the high-end Core i7-965 Extreme Edition processor.

The Intel Core i7-965 Processor Extreme Edition (3.2 GHz) will be no longer available for ordering from September 04, 2009.

Intel said that the market demand for the Intel Core i7-965 Processor Extreme Edition has shifted to other Intel processors.
