Yahoo Search Pad: Making Online Research Easier

Yahoo today released Search PAd, a tool that helps users organize the bounty of information that crops up while doing research on the Web.

Yahoo Search Pad allows online visitors of Yahoo to keep track of the relevant websites and notes they find during their search queries.

Search Pad intelligently detecting users? research intent, automatically collecting visited sites, and providing simple tools for users to organize and add notes ? all in one place. Users can edit, delete, and re-order notes they?ve taken on a topic, and then print them out or email them to friends and family. They can also save the notes to access later by logging in with their Yahoo! ID. This

Search Pad is currently only in testing and is not visible to all users. More information as well as a demo video is available at .

Search Pad is similar in concept to Google Notebook -- a product the Web-search leader opted to halt development on last month.
