AMD Radeon HD 5870 X2 Specifications Leak


A Dutch retailer offered a "Radeon HD 5870 X2" for pre-order last week before removing all traces of the item this morning.

The garphics card, which is expected to be AMD's answer to Nvidia's GeForce GTX 295 solution, mentioned an 800MHz GPU speed and 4,800MHz GDDR5 memory. AMD's Radeon HD 4870 X2, runs at 750MHz with 3,600MHz GDDR5 RAM.

The retailer was also listed the new card for €670, which is likely to be less as soon as the card appear officialy, possibly after the CeBIT trade show next month.
