Asus Details New EE Top PC


Asus disclosed more information about the upcoming "Eee Top" series of PCs that will come equipped with touch screen panels.

The new Eee Top series includes the Eee Top ET1603 and the Eee Top ET1602.

Both models will have a 15.6" 16:9 LCD display with touchscreen functionalities, a wireless keyboard and mouse and will run Windows XP. They are powered by the Intel Atom N270 + 945 GSE chipset, have 1GB of DDRII memory and are equipped with a 160G SATAII 5400rpm HDD.

The Eee Top ET1603 model will have a ATI Mobility Radeon HD3450 discrete display card while the Eee Top ET1602 will have "On board graphics" with no other details provided by Asus.

Other features found in both models include an 1.3M pixel Web camera, array mic, LAN 10/100/1000 Mbps, Wireless 802.11 n and 2 x 4W Hifi speaker + SRS.

Their weight is 4.4Kg and 4.3Kg, respectively. Asus has not provided availability and pricing details.
