The BDP-2 is a portable Blu-ray Super Multi Drive that comes in a stylish external case. For all those who need BD recording functionality, the company offers the BDR-2 Blu-ray Recorder for $389.

Both drives feature the "Quiet Drive Technology" that reduces the noise level of audio and video playback. Liquid Crystal Tilt/Blur Compensator plays and records to discs more reliably. Dual/Double Layer recording provides nearly twice the capacity of a single layer recordable Blu-ray-R (25 Gbytes vs. 50 Gbytes).
