Pioneer's latest Blu-ray disc player, the BDP-LX71, arrives in Europe this summer.
The BonusView (profile 1.1) player incorporates the latest audio and video technologies, outperforming current desktop players in the market.
The player supports the HDMI 1.3a technology and comes with a 1080p HD digital film direct / 24 frames per second video output.
The new player also includes Pioneer's proprietary PureCinema Deinterlacer, which means that you can enjoy your DVD collection scaled up to a 1080p resolution for improved picture quality and compatibility with HDTVs.
The BDP-LX71 supports advanced audio formats with the ability to decode Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS HD and
DTS HD Master high resolution audio formats.
Typically utilised by high-end audio manufacturers and in professional audio equipment, Wolfson Digital Audio Converters (DACs) are responsible for the audio performance.
