MKM Announces 8cm Double-Layer DVD Recordable Discs


Mitsubishi Kagaku Media Co., Ltd. will begin sales of its new single-sided double-layer 8cm DVD-R and DVD+R discs for video cameras by the end of the month.

The company expands its 8cm line of DVD+R/-R discs for video cameras offering new storage capacities that can hold up to 55 minutes of SD video or 45 minutes of HD video.



The discs also come with printable surfaces for use with inkjet printers.

Availability on the Japanese market is schedulled for Feb 25.
