Asus' New Motherboard With Multi-Display Support

Asus has today released the Asus P5E64 WS Professional workstation motherboard.

The P5E64 WS Professional is able to support 4 PCIe x16 slots; which allows users to display a maximum of 8 monitor displays.

With support for such screen space, users can increase their work efficiency by eliminating the time used while alt-tabbing between programs by easily working on up to 8 different applications in full screen mode at once.

The P5E64 WS Professional also features the G.P. Diagnosis card. This card helps provide quick system checks, and displays errors on the LED display. Connecting on the TPM header, the G.P. Diagnosis card also provides convenience with the onboard reset and power buttons.

The motherboard is also fully compatible with the ASUS SASsaby Card. Utilizing the SAS technology for safer data transfers for storage I/O interfaces than previous SATA interfaces. The SASsaby Card is also fully backwards compatible with SATA interfaces.

The P5E64 WS Professional also supports duo PCIe 2.0 x16 slot for double the bus bandwidth from 2.5 Gb/s to 5.0 Gb/s ? allowing tasks to be accomplished in a much shorter time.
