Gigabyte and Asus are offering their first motherboards powered by the Intel X38 chipset, and we have put them side by side on our usual motherboard benchmarks.
Intel's X38 basically supports the PCI Express v2.0. specifications, delivering up to 16GB/s bandwidth per port. It provides leading graphics performance with dual X16 graphic care configuration.
