Intel Unveils 2.8GHZ CPU For Notebooks


Intel added the high-end "X7900" CPU for notebooks to its "Core 2 Extreme" series of processors.

Targeting gamers, the new CPU runs at 2.8GHz, uses a 4MB L2 cache memory L2 while its FSB is set to 800MHz.

The new CPU is manufactured with the 65nm process.
