AMD, Nvidia release driver updates for BioShock

For those planning to sample the BioShock demo, both AMD and Nvidia have released driver updates to ensure optimal compatibility with the game.

AMD's update is available in the form of a hotfix, which can be downloaded from this page for both Windows Vista and Windows XP. The hotfix reportedly solves problems including stuttering, missing surfaces, and display corruption in 2K Games' new title.

Nvidia, meanwhile, has released a set of beta ForceWare drivers numbered 163.44 that also improve compatibility with BioShock. The drivers are available for Vista, XP, and also Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition.
