InFocus Launches 1080p DLP Projector


InFocus introduced today the newest addition to the Play Big line-up, the InFocus Play Big IN82, full HD 1080p projector.

Armed with the latest DLP DarkChip3 technology from Texas Instruments, the InFocus Play Big IN82 full HD 1080p projector boasts a native 4000:1 contrast ratio that can be boosted to a maximum of 12000:1 using the iris.

The Play Big IN82 also offers a video optimized brightness of 1,500 Max ANSI lumens. The InFocus Color Gamut Calibrator and ISF Day & Night presets even allow installers to "lock in" optimized calibration settings for consumers, adding to the projector?s ease-of-use.



In addition, the Play Big IN82 full HD 1080p projector comes with integrated Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing technology and HDMI 1.3 with Deep Color support.

The projector can be connected to HD media players, HD cable and satellite receivers, and broadcast receivers, DVD players, computers and video game consoles.

The InFocus Play Big IN82 full HD 1080p projector will be available in September 2007 for $5,499 MAP through exclusive InFocus resellers and installers.
